PRO is currently working with the DDC, the Mayor’s office of Housing Recovery, and WXY Studio on repairing and remediating coastal neighborhoods and houses still suffering from damage by Hurricane Sandy. Through the ‘Build it Back’ program we are redesigning and elevating multiple houses in outer Brooklyn. In addition to working directly with individual homeowners, we are conducting a neighborhood-scale study about zoning and pre-fabrication as a response to resiliency.
